I was browsing through the ratings on my portfolio and noticed I was given a 5 from a couple of people.

So of course my nosy ass has to message them.

It actually annoyed me a bit.

I have a ton of pictures, but I have to edit each and every one to the allowed pixel size. I honestly haven't really had any time.

I have to take care of my family, deal with the fucking bastards in the Dept of the Veteran's Affairs, deal with my fibromyalgia and sleep apnea and work my ass off so we don't go bankrupt. And that isn't the half of it.

In my opinion (Yes I know, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one), portolios should be judged by the quality, not quantity of the pictures that are in there.

That's just me though. And if being on this website has taught me anything, it's everyone is different.

Still annoying. LOL

I agree.. but in my opinion (yes, I have one too) quality is a judgement call... quantity is more defined.

I base mine on both, as well as variety and how people have structured their portfolio...

...but you know what? At the end of the day, the 5 is just a number on a website and your life is bigger than that...

...just saying.

You are quite right Birra.

I know it's petty of me to be annoyed....and yet, I can't seem to help it. Don't get me wrong, it's not such a huge annoyance that I'm going to be overly upset or anything like that.

I just had to bitch about it. ROFL!!

I think you're not bitching but being honest about what causes most rating drama's. You know the quality of your life- so in sharing the bit you have you fully remember all that went into it and what it ment.

To have someone state it in such a way seems trivial, and not personal with something that is no doubt very personal.

You'll always be a 10 in my books, then again- I'm biased :D

I agree. I have some great photos in my stack. I don't 20 million of the same sort of shot that I have seen around here in some places.

It is quality that counts, not quantity! We have all enjoyed your portfolio over the years...and btw where are the new photos you promised me?!

My mom and mom-in-law are coming to visit! I can't wait to see them. I'm taking them to the Celine Dion concert on Saturday. A good time will be had by all.
